Watch me
Watch me
Watch me
Up in the sky
High on a wire
One step to life and death
One slip between truth and lies
Now watch me, watch me, watch me
Dance with death
High in the sky
Pirouette
Leap forward
Jump back
No fear where risk means everything
Watch me, watch me
Watch me
If I jump now
The wind might pick
Me up and lift
Me off the line
But if I don’t
I’ll never know what it feels like to fly
Fly
Fly
Fall and die

About the Author
Grace Gorski has been an avid reader since first grade and an avid writer since fourth grade. She writes mostly poetry, but she has written two novels. Several more novel-length projects are underway. Grace mostly writes fantasy, but she would love to write historical fiction if the idea of doing so much research did not completely boggle her mind.
Grace:
With this little poem, you have touched the essence of the Soul. Well done.
