NaNoWriMo Creative Writing Prompt X: Life’s Lessons

Today’s prompt is another one of those short sweets. The below is a poignant text written by a very acclaimed author of the 19th century– Louisa May Alcott. All I can say after reading a handful of her gems is that I have a much greater desire to read Little Women suddenly.
“Painful as it may be, a significant emotional event can be the catalyst for choosing a direction that serves us– and those around us– more effectively. Look for the learning.”
